April 24, 2010, Saturday, Day Four

I'm in a little bit of heaven right now. A Eastenders behind the scenes is on right now! Eastenders is like a 5:00 soap opera over here that alot of people watch. I miss this show so bad!

I had a hard time falling asleep last night so I was watching tv. When you watch tv late over here the little sign language lady pops up. Isn't it funny.

So I woke up around 9am. Because Jamies roomie, Bree, needed me to help her with some luggage she was having sent to Australia. I was pretty out of it and slamming around this bag. It was a big rush cause the driver was there to pick it up.

Had a horrible time trying to go back to sleep. Ended up watching a documentary with Jamie. It was on that little girl who was like 4 who was doing these amazing abstract paintings. I think her name was Marla. Anyway it was interesting. The documentary was called "My kid could paint that". i think

So anyway. after we watched that. i did some freelance work and waited for my friend miriam to come over.

When Miriam came over we sat around a little and then we decided to go to the spaniards in pub by hampstead heath.

I did a little video of us going on the bus to hampstead heath.

It was such a nice day out today. Sunny with a slight breeze. Light 70ish? I dunno

I ordered a cider and humus. The humus was so good. The cucumbers were so yum and fresh.

so after we drank for a while. we went over to hampstead heath. I had never gone before. for some reason i just never went over there.

a tree. i'm sure it means something creepy
religous tree

at the top of the heath people were flying those huge kites. the kind where you can run and the kites will pick you up. i imagine its called kite jumping. or kite flying. who knows. whatever

Jamie runs into people everywhere. We sat with these people for a little bit on the big hill on hampstead heath that over looks the city.
some peeps on the heap

ok so. i can't tell the story right on this. but people in london can apply for a little piece of land to grow vegetables on. i think they call them plots. anyway i saw some while we were there. i had never saw one in person. some of the people on the show easteneders have plots. if anyone knows the real story. feel free to tell me.

This is what miriam says they are (The "plots" are called allotments. The government have plots of allotments all over london and people can rent them out. There is a really big waiting list for them. Only reason I know this is because there's some behind my house, and my mum enlightened me about the above haha..)
gardens. plots?

a little video of the heath

look who i ran into on the bus ride home. justin beiber. he is everywhere! duck and cover!

  2. The guy behind Miriam on the bus looks like Benson from an 80's sitcom of the same name.
